Downtown Roanoke wanted to share a glimpse into our historic past and get energized about all downtown now offers. Using beautiful 360 drone images you can see downtown like never before, from a birds eye view. The strategy was to use vistity markers to highlight what is both historic and new about this city and of interest to both longtime residents and visitors alike. This tour will open your eyes to the history of our iconic buildings and spaces, our diverse restaurants, unique retail stores, and so much more.
Downtown Roanoke built the vistity tour for a diverse audience. For locals who have lived there for a lifetime as well as tourists planning a visit. Highlighting all Roanoke has to offer also encourages investment in development and promotes new business both small and large.
Downtown Roanoke used the before and after content marker to pair historical images with current day. This was a great way to share the history of Roanoke with images that most people have never seen. In addition, Roanoke added lots of POI markers to highlighting small business, hospitality venues and parking downtown for tourists and locals alike.
We delivered a suite of tools: 360-degree drone images, captivating aerial videos, and detailed profiles of hundreds of points of interest, all enriched with data and narratives from downtown Roanokes economic reports.
